\nManchester United defender Tyrell Malacia is seemingly stepping up his rehabilitation as he eyes a return to competitive action as soon as possible.<\/p>\n
Malacia has not featured for even a single minute this season and it’s believed he will miss the entirety of his sophomore campaign at United with a long-term knee issue.<\/p>\n
The Netherlands international, who United signed last summer from Eredivisie giants Feyenoord, has not lined up for the club since he had surgery on a knee meniscus injury. He initially picked up the setback during the last day of the 2022\/23 Premier League term.<\/p>\n
The injury also saw Malacia ruled out of the Red Devils’ pre-season tour of the United States.<\/p>\n
His long-term absence raised some questions from a section of supporters, who speculated why the player had not been seen in public during the duration of his recovery.<\/p>\n
